A sailing holiday with B&B yachting is more than just sailing
The B&B Yachting flotilla is not only about sailing, swimming, good food, sunbathing, reading, having a drink together or romantic stargazing with your loved one on the deck of your yacht at night. We always try to make a sailing holiday as complete as possible for everyone with all the bells and whistles around it. Of course there are plenty of guests who just want to enjoy the peace and quiet and it is certainly not a must. After all, it is your vacation. Especially for those who want to see a bit more of the Turkish coast or want some extra adventure, we certainly have interesting possibilities.
During our flotilla we come into contact with an abundance of possibilities. How about sailing in the air, walking through an ancient Greek city or a Roman bathhouse, viewing the bays from above through parasailing and so much more. Did you know that all walking excursions are included as standard with our flotillas? Below are a few examples of the possibilities we have to offer.
Paragliding
Or sailing in the air! The area is known as one of the most beautiful places for paragliding in the world. You will find all nationalities in the world here. We can arrange this for enthusiasts on a few routes, with a minimum number of participants of 4 people. In high season there are up to 750 flights per day. Each pilot is allowed to fly a maximum of 5 times a day. Naturally, passage always depends on the weather.
If you book a flight, you will be taken off board by boat in the morning and taken to the beach. From there you take the bus to Oludeniz where you change for the last ride up the mountain. You can even ascend from a height of 2 kilometers with a descent to sea level. After landing you will simply be returned to your sailing yacht. While flying, a recording is also made of your flight and many photos. If desired, you can have it loaded on your phone on the spot. There are extra costs involved and it is best to make agreements about this with your pilot in advance. For them this is an extra income. An experience that no one will take from you anymore!
Watersports and Parasailing
Actually on all routes we have the opportunity to get a taste of another activity on the water other than sailing. In Turkey, everything must meet the applicable safety requirements in order to be able to perform such water sports. It is certainly worthwhile (if you are not afraid of heights of course) to view a bay from the air by parasailing after a boat. Certainly suitable for most ages! For the youth it is also great to fly behind a speedboat on a tire. By the way, you often see that other guests start to feel youthful again and then want to measure themselves against the younger generation. This always produces nice photo material.
Hiking excursions
What is a complete sailing holiday without seeing some of the area around the sailing area? Many bareboat guests pass by most of these hidden gems. At the B&B Yachting flotilla we offer you more than just sailing. Through Yvonne’s walking excursions, everyone gets the opportunity to admire all the hidden natural beauty, history and vistas for themselves through beautiful walking excursions.
You can think of abandoned cities, ancient Greek arenas and settlements, Lycian cities and tombs, bathhouses, shipyards, (sunken) cities from the Byzantine era and waterfalls behind tropical gardens. There is so much to see during your sailing holiday. Of course this is not possible in every bay, but where possible Yvonne offers this. The excursion continues with a minimum of 3 registrations. Make sure you have good shoes. Do not forget to bring your camera with a bottle of water for the road. Before we forget, the walking excursions are completely free and included with our flotillas!
Supping
From now on it is also possible to rent a subboard with your sailing yacht. This is also a great way to explore the different bays or of course to be sporty. We have new lightweight inflatable supboards. If you want one during your sailing holiday, it is inflated against the railing and ready for use on board. Great fun for all ages.
Dinghy’s
It is possible to rent a dinghy with outboard motor from us during your sailing trip. This is mainly done during the school holidays when a lot of young people come along. While sailing you don’t need them much in Turkey, but in summer it is nice to be able to participate in, for example, a dinghy race or discover the cave in Kekova, for example. It also gives you a little more freedom to come ashore dry when we are at anchor, for example to take a nice walk. If you anchor at a restaurant in Turkey, you will always be taken off board by the restaurant owner and, of course, returned neatly (and usually dry).
Comfortable folding seats
We have also thought of the guests who only come for peace and quiet and want to enjoy themselves. From now on you can rent wonderful folding seats on board, so that you can dream away in your book even more comfortably on the front deck, possibly with a drink.
