Passport or ID card
The passport or identity card must be valid for at least 6 months on departure from Turkey.
Make sure that children have their own passport or identity card. You are at all times responsible for the correct travel documents.
Rental period
The rental period of the sailing yacht is on the first day of the rental at 5 p.m. (or earlier if the lessor specifies). On the day before departure, arrival at the home port is no later than 5:00 PM and the transfer will, depending on the flight schedule, on the day of departure. You can of course stay on the yacht until Saturday morning 9:00 o’clock. The yacht then has to be clean and empty as you received it. This way our cleaning team can start immediately.
On the spot
Check the sailing yacht before you leave. If you notice any imperfections or encounter problems during the trip, always immediately notify the flotilla guide of B&B Yachting.
They will do everything they can to resolve matters quickly and properly. If they unexpectedly fail to satisfy you, have a report drawn up. It is not possible to make a claim afterwards without written submission. Keep in mind that when you are outside of the home base, repair and supply of parts can take some time. If there is a serious defect in the rented sailing yacht, no complaint is possible if this defect is resolved within 36 hours after reporting.
The hirer must have sufficient (technical) experience to guarantee the safety of the entire crew. The hirer must provide the entire crew with proper information about the possible dangers on board such as operating the anchor, running engine, changing gas bottles, etc.
Flotilla
The renter must have sufficient sailing experience to participate in a flotilla. The flotilla guide provides information about the sailing area and offers – if necessary – help with sailing and mooring. The information provided by the flotilla guide never relieves the renter of his own responsibility. The tenant remains primarily responsible for his decisions.
Experience
By renting a sailing yacht, the tenant declares to have sufficient (sailing) experience for the rented boat. If it is found on site that a tenant does not have sufficient sailing experience, the lessor has the right to send a skipper for one or more days. The costs of this will be charged to the tenant.
Bareboat
If you sail bareboat you must have sufficient experience to be able to sail a ship fully independently at sea, to be able to moor, anchor and navigate on your own and you must have sufficient technical knowledge to be able to solve any minor technical problems. The tenant receives the sailing yacht after an extensive technical briefing. The tenant then sets off independently. All sailing yachts of B&B Yachting have sea charts, the “Turkish Waterpilot” and a Dutch-language board book from “B&B Yachting”. In this board book you will find, in addition to general and technical information about the sailing yacht, a lot of information about the bays and places in the sailing area around the home port of Göcek.
Liability
The person who books a trip is jointly and severally liable for (also) all others he registers. The travel conditions require the provision of personal data that may be important for the implementation of the trip. This provision does not only concern a mental or physical disability, but also other qualities that may be important for the performance of the trip for the traveler himself or for the group.
The tenant is obliged to know where the safety equipment is on board; life jackets, lifelines, fire extinguisher, first aid, flares, life raft etc.
The tenant is liable for damage and / or loss of the boat and inventory during the rental period insofar as this damage is not the responsibility of the lessor, such as wear and tear. You are obliged to report any damage and / or loss immediately.
The customer is fully liable for the consequential damage caused by him, the indirect damage, as a result of which the boat cannot be rented for the next two weeks. The tenant is responsible for the lost rental income over 2 weeks from B&B Yachting or any landlord.
Damage and / or loss will be deducted from the deposit
If the skipper does not have a boating license I and II or ICC, but another ‘boating license’, he may rent the boat at his own risk. Any fines and whether it is not allowed to sail out or on by the authorities are at their own expense.
It is not allowed to bring pets on board.
The boat may only be used in the area of which the sea charts are present on board. Competition sailing and sailing in the dark are not allowed.
If one or more days cannot be sailed due to weather conditions, the tenant is not entitled to a refund. Any expenses incurred are at your own risk.
If the tenant cannot make the trip (completely) due to the lack of any (valid) travel document, all resulting costs, damage and consequences will be borne by the tenant.
B&B Yachting is not liable for a shortcoming in the execution of the agreement that is due to force majeure or abnormal and unforeseen circumstances that are independent of the will of the person who invokes them and the consequences of which could not be avoided despite all precautions.
Hired skipper
If you book a Skipper at B&B Yachting, you as a tenant are responsible for the ship and the inventory. The skipper is on board with you to provide support on the nautical level. However, you as a tenant remain responsible and liable for the deposit and damage to / from the ship and the inventory (gross negligence or intent, of course, aside from).
Reservation sailing yacht lessor
If the rented sailing yacht is not available due to force majeure or technical problems, B&B Yachting reserves the right to offer an alternative. If the offered alternative is not acceptable to the tenant, the tenant has the right to cancel free of charge. This no later than 24 hours after receipt of the notification. Any damage resulting from this for the tenant cannot be recovered from B&B Yachting.
Payment terms
All prices quoted are in euros. When booking a sailing yacht or a flotilla sailing trip, a deposit of 50% must be paid immediately, but no later than 8 working days after booking. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure. If a trip is booked within 6 weeks before departure, you are obliged to pay the entire travel sum within 5 days or at least before departure. If payment is not made within the set terms, you will, if you have not made payment even after the first reminder, owe the statutory interest as well as any extrajudicial collection costs to be incurred. It will also give us the right to treat it as a cancelation of your side. See also our cancelation policy below.
Reservation
We reserve the right, in case the tourist travel market will be seriously affected by a possible war or terrorist threat, epidemics or for economic reasons, to cancel the booked trips, whereby the paid travel sum will be reimbursed in the form of a voucher, which, if desired, will be fully refunded after one year. If it is decided to reschedule the trip in consultation and the original payments are paid according to the first invoice, so the dates on which these agreements are based. Prices will remain the same the next year for holders of a voucher. Prices for the added extras will remain in effect, this also applies in the case of a one-way. As long as it is not 100% clear what will happen in such a case, the payment conditions on the original invoice and the cancellation conditions of B&B Yachting remain in effect at all times.
Cancellation policy
In case of cancellation of a sailing yacht, the following amounts are due:
• up to 12 weeks before departure 50% of the travel sum
• up to 6 weeks before departure 75% of the travel sum
• 100% of the travel sum within 6 weeks before departure
B&B Yachting always advises to take a cancellation insurance when renting a yacht. The above percentages are always charged, without exceptions charged in case of cancellation by the tenant.
Insurance / deductible/ deposit
The sailing yachts of B&B Yachting are covered by third party liability insurance. Persons and / or property of these persons are not covered by the all risk insurance of the yachts. The tenant’s own risk is 2000 euros, this is also the deposit. In the event of damage to the sailing yacht during the rental period, the renter is liable for this. B&B Yachting does not accept any liability for loss, theft or damage occurring during the rental period. The tenant can reduce (only in case of flotilla) the excess of 2000 euros to a maximum of 200 euros by paying an amount of 100 euros at the start of the rental period for the first week and 50 euros for the subsequent weeks.
Damage, loss or theft of the dinghy and possibly with rented outboard engine, refueling diesel in the water tank or refueling water in the diesel tank are not covered by the deductible. The resulting costs are entirely at the expense of the tenant.

We will issue a telephone or written quotation on request. These general terms and conditions are part of the quotation. The travel agreement is concluded by accepting the quotation.
And last but not least
B&B Yachting expressly reserves the right to change the published flotilla routes per sailing date due to circumstances and / or regulations by local authorities, which does not entitle to compensation and / or cancellation.
